Friedrich Ebert Foundation – Kenya Office

Napta has partnered with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation – Kenya office to champion a socially just public transport in Kenya, especially in the Para-transit subsector. Through the Socially Just – Public Transport Working Group, We have been able to engage Para-transit leaders, government agencies, and workers unions on ways of improving service in the sector and anchoring the sector on the Five Principles of a socially just public transport. The principles are: Available: Accessible and affordable; Inclusive; Human Rights and Equity; and Sustainability.

The National Transport and Safety Authority – NTSA

Napta has been recognized as a Road Safety Actor by the National Transport and Safety Authority and we have partnered to champion road safety in the public transport sector through training of drivers and creating awareness among all stakeholders. NTSA is State Agency mandated to regulate the road transport sector.
