Who we are
The National Public Transport Alliance (NAPTA)
NAPTA is a non-profit organization championing the transformation of the public transport sector in Kenya through research, innovation, training, advocacy and investments. Napta was incorporated in 2021 under the Companies Act 2015 Laws of Kenya as a Company limited by guarantee.
Napta undertakes research on policy issues affecting the transportation sector. We publish objective analyses on the problems facing transportation and provide ideas for, and a clear path toward possible solutions. In addition, through Uchukuzi News we hope to be the premier national transportation policy publication for transportation leaders across the country.
Through our professional development programs, we cultivate creative and visionary leadership by giving public and private transportation leaders the tools and training they need to succeed together.
